The Lady with the Funny Glasses
(Grades K-5)
Yep, that’s me. “A riddle a diddle a riddle for Lyle this program’s designed to make you smile.” And just wait 'til you see my glasses. This 50-60 minute lively interactive PowerPoint presentation focuses on the behind-the-scenes process of creating a picture book. Laughing out loud is expected and lots of questions are encouraged. Length of time can be tailored to meet the needs of the audience.

Writing Workshop
(Grades 3-5)
Connect With Your Senses and Make Your Stories DANCE 
For smaller groups of one to twenty five. 
What do you suppose aliens like to eat? And where do they go to get some good old fashioned unidentified flying omelets with a side of sweet grilled saucer-ages? Students will take pleasure in this writing exercise by designing a menu that caters to a creature/human of choice. No inhibited writing here. Length of time can be tailored to meet the needs of the group. All supplies will be provided.

Pre-School 
Hands on story reading includes a craft, an educational enrichment activity, and an opportunity to laugh at the chicken (on my head) or the bird (on my shoulder.)

Libraries and Bookstores
Join me for a good old-fashioned story time, sing along, games and crafts. Parents welcome to join their kids. For pre-school through 8.
